- Refugee Journey: In 2015, Yusra and her sister fled Syria due to the ongoing conflict. They embarked on a perilous journey that involved crossing the Aegean Sea from Turkey to Greece. During the journey, the boat's engine failed, and Yusra, her sister, and two other refugees swam for hours in open water to push the boat to safety, saving the lives of those on board.
- Olympic Athlete: After reaching Germany, Yusra continued her swimming training. She later joined the Refugee Olympic Team and competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She participated as a swimmer in the 200-meter freestyle and 100-meter freestyle events.

- Breaking Barriers: Jackie was the first African American to play in Major League Baseball (MLB). This was a really big deal because, at that time, there were unfair rules that kept Black players out of the league.
- Playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers: In 1947, Jackie joined the Brooklyn Dodgers. It wasn't easy for him. He faced a lot of racism and unfair treatment, but he didn't let it stop him.
- Rookie of the Year: Jackie's talent couldn't be ignored. In his first year, he was so good that he was named the Rookie of the Year – the best new player in the whole league!
